BILLINGHAM – R&M Contracts Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable R&M Contracts Manager to join our dedicated Service Administration Team.

North East Truck & Van Limited is a franchised main dealer for Iveco, MAN, Fiat Professional and LDV with a history of 50 years and 7 sites across the North of England.

The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, reliable and hard working and will be expected to work to a consistently high quality in everything they do.

Applicants must be must have experience in a similar role.

Franchised Main Dealer experience is preferred but all backgrounds will be considered.

The successful applicant’s main duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

    • Overview and collate service dept KPIs such as:
      • MOT performance
      • Updating of daily VOR log
      • Vehicle compliance register (including NETV rental fleet)
    • Issuing of order numbers and authorising work to vehicles on NETV R&M contracts. Needs ability to understand work being carried out and determine if necessary, priced correctly etc also to identify repeat repairs and ensure if due to workshop error then contracts do not stand cost
    • Review budget spend per vehicle (as set up in contract) and review spend against budget and manage accordingly, warn where contracts in distress (i.e. cost greater than income) and assist in managing
    • Setting up contracts on NETV system. Dealing with suppliers/repairers โ€“ both our own workshops and external suppliers, and issue order numbers and deal with purchase ledger invoices
    • Issuing sales ledger invoices for vehicles on contract
    • Strong administrative background
    • Technical knowledge of commercial vehicles strongly preferred
    • Commercial experience of running vehicles strongly preferred (e.g. fleet manager etc)
    • Ability to work alone and part of team and to ensure get results
