A specialist Engineering division is based in Billingham, operating from dedicated premises. This activity was started over 30 years ago to enable us to offer customers unique modifications to vehicles' chassis, tailored to suit their exact business needs.

The Engineering division carries out work on all makes of vehicles and is also Iveco's sole independent privately owned Approved Vehicle Modification Centre in the UK, officially recognising the quality of our engineering work .

The division is well respected for its investment in ongoing research and development, with recent projects undertaken including:

	Rear steer installations
	Mid and tag axle conversions
	Petroleum Regulation and ADR development
	Three and four axle conversions for heavy haulage tractor units
	A wide range of wheelbase extensions and reductions
	Complex homologation processes for modified vehicles
	Design and development of Handbrake Alert
